My Family

I am so excited to start my blog...in fact, so excited that my friend, Jenn, is actually doing my first post! I am so lame that I can't even take the time to put some pictures and a few words on my blog about my family. Heaven forbid I spend some time journaling and sharing my thoughts and feelings about my wonderful family whom I love and adore.

I have three beautiful children who keep me on my toes. I enjoy spending time with them each day and I think I learn as much from them as they do from me.

Reese and Jaxson just turned six this past January. They are loving kindergarten and they especially love their teacher, Mrs. Ewing. They are learning so much and it has been exciting for me to see them learn how to read. Jaxson is playing soccer right now. It is fun to watch him because he pretty aggressive and fast. He has caught on to soccer quickly and it is nice that he loves doing something that helps him get rid of some of his energy. He also enjoys riding his bike and playing with Legos.Reese is in gymnastics and she loves it. When she first started, she was not able to do a cartwheel, but now she can do 3 or 4 in a row. She loves to show friends and family the things that she has learned in gymnastics. She has really "come out of her shell" the last year, and has become quite the social butterfly. She has lots of friends and enjoys spending time with them. She is a good sister and loves to play with Landon. She helps me alot around the house. Landon will be 2 in June and he is getting big too quickly. Earlier this year, we realized that he could not hear very well. In fact, the doctors said it was as if he was under water. We noticed his speech was way behind for his age, so we got him tested and found out he needed ear tubes. He is having speech therapists come once a month and he is starting to talk alot more and we are actually understanding him somewhat. Landon is full of enery and has a contagious smile. He loves to jump on the tramp with Reese and Jaxson and spend time in the sand box. As long as he is outside, he is happy.
